Roger Cohen

Founder, CEO and Chairman

Roger is responsible for setting our vision and strategy and for overall execution. Roger is an expert on how to improve legal processes in complex transaction and legally-intensive businesses. He brings over 22 years experience handling $10 billion in complex capital market and loan workouts as a corporate attorney with Brobeck, Phleger and Harrison and Dorsey and Whitney. His clients included Wells Fargo Bank, Sunstone Hotels, Friedman Billings and Ramsey, Finova and Westar Capital. Roger led seven IPOs for financial and real estate companies. He also managed scores of leveraged buyouts and debt restructurings, including developing a compliance process for a $2 billion loan portfolio for the Resolution Trust Corporation and developing a unique data and document management system for a four year debt restructuring involving 5,000 loan documents for what became Starwood Hotels. Roger studied at the American College of Switzerland, Oxford University, and Tokyo. He graduated from UC San Diego, summa cum laude, and received his law degree from Boalt Hall at UC Berkeley.

Kellie Delaney

Director of Legal Product Management

Kellie worked for more than a decade in the software industry solving information design problems as a consulting writer and project manager, responsible for technical publications, product marketing, and regulatory product specifications. She began her career at Platinum Software (now Epicor), worked as Program Manager for International Language Engineering, and created information architectures for her former clients, including State of the Art Software (now Sage), Informatica, QLogic, Broadcom, PatientSafe, and Canon Information Systems. Since becoming an attorney in 2009, Kellie has used her software background, writing expertise, and legal insight to help further the VeriComply product design and company vision, and to assist with corporate legal needs as they arise. She holds a J.D., with honors, from California Western and an M.A. and B.A., cum laude, in Comparative Literature from UC Irvine. She has taught undergraduate writing courses at UC Irvine and UC Santa Barbara.

Cindy Baumann

Customer Services

Cindy is responsible for customer implementation & adoption activities for VeriComply clients, as well as overall systems administration and support. She has 20 years of systems management experience working in a variety of business segments including engineering, aerospace, computer services, healthcare, and non-profit. As Vice President of Technical Services for Enfrastructure, she managed systems and applications as Director of Information Technology for a start-up company, which grew from 2 Southern California offices to 16 offices nationwide. She has managed systems and networks for Hughes Aircraft Company and Computer Sciences Corporation and has managed various aspects of Training & Technical Support for Baxter Healthcare, the J. Paul Getty Trust, and Santa Fe International. Cindy holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering from California State University Long Beach.

Jason James

V.P. of Operations

Jason is responsible for all customer and partner-related technical matters. He brings 22 years of systems design and implementation experience, including senior roles at IBM, WMFS and Jefferson Wells, as a Director of Professional Services and Project Management Office. Most recently Jason led the professional services and technical sales division of a GRC software company specializing in compliance risk management. In professional services Jason has sold and implemented 20 million dollar software solutions to the top 5 Insurance companies worldwide. He has helped multiple companies from 5 million to 10 billion obtain Sarbanes Oxley compliance and lead risk management projects for companies like ACSC and Kyocera. Prior to that he worked in the financial industry with companies like Swiss Bank, Marsh McLennan and Option One leading teams of up to 30 analysts in projects based in Italy, France, the UK and the US. Jason has qualifications in Electronics and Communication from Waltham Forest College UK. He is a COBOL, CICs, and DB2 programmer as well as a Certified Information Systems Auditor. Jason sits on the board of the Institute of Internal Auditors and Information systems Audit and Controls Association in Orange County.

Sheila Lamb

V.P.- Restaurant and Franchise Industry

Sheila has over 17 years of experience in franchise sales and development. She began her franchising career in 1994 working for Pizza Hut of America's Non-Traditional Sales Department specializing in franchise licensing. She has worked for some of the largest and well known brands in the industry including Hardee's/CKE, Captain D's Seafood and Domino's Pizza. Sheila also has experience working in other roles within the restaurant industry, including, real estate acquisition, construction project management, restaurant equipment procurement and distribution and marketing. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Ohio State University.
